Everybody I am in need of some serious help. I installed ExoX on my Xbox . Then later that same day my E: Drive got wiped out. My EvoX dashboard and my original dashboard got wiped out. I no longer can put in or take out things from my dashboard. My xbox also wont connect to my computer through FlashFXP so I cant copy files from my friends xbox and just recopy them to mine. Can somebody please help? As it looks now I may have to buy a new Xbox.

If u have a chip ^^^ that stuff will work. If you dont have a chip then u have to buy one.

No, I dont have a chip. How much does the one I need cost for all that to work and where can I get it and which one do I need? Thanks for all your help!

If you know how to solder, look into getting the DuoX2 modchip. Also, the Xecuter 3ce and Xenium S.P.ice are good chips but are more expensive. If you do not know how to solder, then you can get a solderless adapter to go w/ the Xecuter and Xenium chips.

Ok here's what you need to do. Grab you original 007AUF, Mechassult or Splintercell Game. Whichever you used to 'Softmod' with. Allthough your Dashboard is, currently history. You can (should), still be able to boot and play normal (i.e. Original), Game Discs. So you should already see where this is headed. If not you just redo the 'Hack' and reboot back into Evox. Now if you really did fork over your 'E: Drive' to the point where you no linger have access to your 'Save Games' you'll need a Mem Cart. (but, then again you should have had one to begin with!), So you can just access the 'Softmod' over the Memcart!
Once your back in Evox. You should then be able to gain FTP access to the XBOX. Now I don't know if you had time to install BoxPlorer on your XBOX? If not? Then now might be a good time to download it from #xbins on mIRC's efnet! In short you want to run either that or the older Xcommmander from the Applications Menu on EvoX so you can view to Structure of your XBOX?. Specifically the contents on the 'D: Drive' (D: being the DVD-ROM), You will need to have at least One XBOX Live!? Game DVD. It's now mid-late 2005 and the XBOX? is as EOL as it has ever been in it short life! The point being is it's almost impossible not to have even One XBL! Title! Heck even that ancient copy of 'Splintercell' will work! (infatct the older the Game the better for you and your 'Softmoding' asperations!
You want to locate the 'Dashupdate.xbe' on your 'D: Drive' and run it! you should see a Progress Bar quicky scroll along and compleate itself and then autoreboot itself back in to the M$Dash.

It wouldnt let me run a gamesave from my memory card though. I would have to save it to my Xbox.

yea i used the mechassault save and i dont think you can run caves from your m-card on that but maybe on splinter cell or 007. im gonna have to try that cuz i did exactly what you did, except i can still use game saves but i deleted the mechassault exploit.

well i just tried splinter cell and you couldn't load from a m-card so now im gonna try 007 auf i hope that one works.

You can't load any of the "Auto-installers" from memory card.. If you had the HDD key, and are comfortable can rebuild the harddrive with "xbhdm"; or get the "slayers" auto-installer cause I think it runs directly from the disc.

the usual place? it's really easy to find, there's some fake version out there with a virus, so slayer has a PW, and you can check it with a MD5 Has thing
