Is it just me or is it that some DVD can't be ripped? I got this DVD and would like to make backup for the future, but somehow, the DVD seems to be unable to read in any of my drive, but works fine on the DVD player. What's do I need to do in order to make it work? I really need to make this backup since some friends want to borrow my original one and I need to back it up for just in case. Is it because the DVD is burn from a DVD+/-R? I got this DVD from ebay which the seller say it was the original.

Like DVD Decrypter. DVD is a korean DVD called stairway to heaven. I'm wonder why do u need to know what software it is when the DVD doesn't load in the drive at all, but it load fine in the DVD player. weird. Beside all that, the DVD is totally clean...no scratch or any other mark.

hi

dvdr and not originals can be hard to read for a drive

what most do is get the latest firmware (for your drive) in a hope it will allow reading of more brand name dvdr's sold in shops

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

Thanks Rotary. Maybe I should just buy a new DVD burner. If so, which DVD drive would be able to run DVDR?
