i bought swap magic about a month ago was workin fine til recently when the games that worked fine stopped workin all i got was a red sign saying not a valid ps2 disc. has anyone had a similar prob & wot can i do to make it right, plus now i cant play origanal games properly i have trouble loading them.

i am using swap magic 3.6, my ps2 is scph 35003, the games i backed up i downloaded but they were workin fine.

what program do u use to back up the games.if anything it either sounds like there is a problem with your swap magic and your lens.
its your lens most likely try cleaning it off and if that dont work u might have to buy a new one.oh yea r u using a slide card or a flip top?

if the game is one i downloaded i use ultra iso to put it on a dvd if it is an origanol game i back it up using either DVD Decrypter or ultra iso. i can play origanol cd games no probs but cant get dvd games to play anymore, they are in the browser as playstation 2 disc but dont load. i use a flip top these problems have only recently started to happen since using the flip top & swap magic disk. i have read in other forums about adjusting the laser to correct this is it easy to do coz i dont want to f$*k my ps2 up.

adjusting the laser is really simple.

Because i would say that it is not your swap magic
or your media.
If original DVD games do not work then it is
most likely your laser. Try cleaning it first.
Then try adjustinmg it. Make sure that when you adjust
it via the white cog thing that you take a pen
and mark the original position it is in before
you start. that way you can always put it back where
it was to start with.

i have got a couple of origanol dvd games to work & 1 backup game to work by adjusting the laser i guess i'll have to keep adjusting it till they all work.
