DVD ripping questions. Need help, PLEASE!!!

Ok, whenever i rip a dvd it always says its unable to download a codec for it but it'll still play, sometimes. Second, the slide bar doesn't work and there is no timer, so i cant convert it, at all.. If anybody has any thoughts as to how i can fix this please help me b/c this is really making me mad now. Thanks

I've used SmartRipper and DVD Decrypter

I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean by slide bar, maybe that's a SmartRipper thing. I use DVD Decrypter all the time, you should be able to just click Mode, then File and pick a folder it can dump all the DVD files into.

Whenever i open it in Windows Media Player the Nav Bar is all the way to the right. The video will still play but i cant convert it.

can you put the movie in and open DVD Decrypter, then try to rip it without using Windows Media Player?
