you need a modding device like a modchip/swap magic disks, before you start thinking about copying ps2 games

here is how to patch for online play

here is how to use DVD Decrypter to make back ups
you can get the program in the software section here

and the best mod chips are DMS4 Pro, DMS4 Lite, Matrix Infinity

and i would suggest getting it installed by someone who knows
what they are doing. Also get a laser fix if you are getting a chip

thnx for all the info, but i don't like to order online and i'm from canada, and the only way to get them offline is to go to like an asian mall, and that's what i did with my ps1, and they didn't do very good, broke within like a few months. so what other ways are there to get a good quality mod-chip and instalation?

If you are worried about buying online then try going to a computer swap meet to get a mod chip installed or do a google search for mod chip installers in your area. But do your research first - don't settle for anything less than a DMS4 or Matrix Infinity. I got my Matrix Infinity modchip installed by an electronics technician who usually repairs videos/tvs etc. As long as you have the modchip installation diagrams it shouldn't be a problem getting some electronic minded person to install a modchip for you.
