Cyclic Redundancy error

I was using DVDShrink to open a disk and 72% of the way through i get an message that says something like "Process failed-Cyclic Redundancy error". Can anyone tell me what this means and more importantly how to get passed this hiccup.

Usually when it takes that long it means the disk is dirty or scratched. Try DVDFab Decryptor. It's worked on disks that you'd swear were used as hockey pucks.

dvd decrpter will work even better. I just had a disk that would even play in a ps2. I was able to rip with decryptor and it came out perfect quality with no read errors.

Hmmm...but yet it wouldnt play in any dvd player and or top of the line ps2...lol
