boble,
I don't want to sound like a smart ass but the first thing I would do is uninstall Xcopy and throw the software in the garbage. In my opinion its about the worst backup program I have had the misfortune to own.

I kind of agree with hollywood. I tossed out x copy platinum about a year ago. Download shrink, right here for free.

X Copy does conflict with a lot of other software, that's why I quit using it. It used to completely lock up my computer about 25% into the burn and I'd have to do a hard shut down. Then I switched to Decrypter and Shrink and haven't had a problem since.

I don't see what all of you have against XCopy Platinum,I've been using it for over a year and a half.True, most DVD Copy software does cause problems with it.Except for the fact that it won't copy copys or DVDs that aren't encrypted I've had no trouble with it after over 200 copys.I haven't come across 1 encrypted DVD I couldn't burn.I found DVD Copy Now for $4 which picks up the copys and unencrypted DVDs.
So boble unless your having trouble with XCopy Platinum,if I were you keep it and find a cheap program to pick up what XCopy won't.

Using DVDXCopy is not unlike driving across the country in a Ford Model T. You may get there, but you are sure to have many misadventures doing it.

In the past, I have used DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. However, for the past 6 months I have only used AnyDVD and CloneDVD 2. IMO the easiest and most reliable combo out there. Well worth the money($59). Be sure to use quality blank discs no matter what software you use.
