is it possilbe to play ps2 games from computer to the ps2 via usb?only whit a usb-cable?

no..i mean..if you like download a ps2 game..and dont have a dvd or a usb hdd...is it possible to just put a usb-cabel from the computer to the ps2 and play the game?

I see what you're saying, and I have no solution, but I'll spit my 2 cents anyways. First off, it is illegal to download games you don't own, and if you owned them, you wouldn't want to do this. Next time, word it so it sounds legal :P. Second, I am thinking maybe if you could get the PS2 to recognize the PC as a drive or something...Maybe something like a hard drive enabler but hook it up to your PC hard drive??

Well...I have to agree with Razor and say that it isn't "cool" to download and burn whats not yours! Now with that out the way, I dont think it would be possible use a usb to "play" a game thats on your computer hdd. I say that because I don't know if a computer can recognize a PS2 hdd. If you have a larger gig hdd in your PS2, I would say try to ftp into that drive.

thx..and by the way, I dont download games..it was just an example...i just wanted to have my games on the computer and play them from there, so i dont have to put in the disc all the time:P

OK...Here's what I'm thinking...I am pretty good with my knowledge of PS2's and HD's, but put them together and you can call me noob. I just know you need a HD enabler, and a HD, lol. So here's the idea, if there is a way you could get a HD enabler that can connect to a HD through the USB on the front of the PS2 (I have no idea where they are on the slimline, possibly on the front also?) you could connect an external HD, which you could also connect to your computer. Connect it to your computer, copy the games over, and connect to PS2, correct? Seems like it would work...But still, this subject is a vast territory full of...Well, you get the idea.
