How do I rip a dvd with no chapters

I am trying to rip a couple of dvds the problem is they dont have proper chapter stops or running time and because of this problem I cannot select the scenes I want on DVD2OneX infact non of the scenes show up on the selections except for stuff like trailers and warnings

what should I do?

you may be able to convert that to mpg?
then edit with like imovie or something...

i'm sure mediaguru has something about this one...

i'm tossing out a thought on it
