I know this has prolly been ask a million time but.. Are sony DVD-Rs any good? Because 50 packs are on sale at wal-mart for $19.00 ish.... and I would like to know are they any good? or is it a bad deal? Because that seems kind of cheap for a high quality sony product

YES!!! They are fine. WE AS CONSUMERS DO NOT QUESTION GREAT PRICES, WE TAKE ADVANTAGE.

I use Sony discs and I've never had a problem that was consecutive. Just remember no disc is perfect. LOL.

@vexture welcome to ad the sony media has quite a few fans before buying the bulk you might run out and try to get a couple singles to test the compatability to your drive because quality w/ one drive manuf. doesn't alway's mean the the same for a dif. burner you can buy the sony's and use this prog. to identify the true nature of this media
it is called vso inspector (free) very handy tool a must have you can find it here http://www.vso-software.fr/inspector.htm
also ther is a link in my sig that yo can find out if your drive is compatable just a little info but honestly the sony's are usually pretty good quality
good luck

p.s. if you save the wrapper you will usually have no trouble taking back sub-par media even if you had to waist a couple to find out
