Hey Guys,
I have to tell you I have no idea of what I am doing when it comes to burning ps2 games. First off what I'm wondering is I don't understand why you can't burn ps2 games directly or rip and burn without the use of a mod chip. I mean a ps2 reads dvd-r so why can't you burn without the use of anything. The next question is, if I have no mod chip and don't want anything inside why system, what do you guys recommend. Is the slide tool dueable or not? With the slide tool will games like madden play and the large ea sports games? If so how do you go about burning even if you have a slide tool. Like I said though, I don't see how there is no means of burning ps2 w/o the use of any additional hardware.

You need Swap Magic also with the slide tool. Swap magic loads the copy protection into the system then stops and lets you put in the backup game. The copy protection is pressed with the PS2 disc so that is why you need swap magic.
