Hi i ripped a dvd 126min long Used SmartRipper took 15mins,DVD2AVI took 1hr,and TMPG took 7hrs.

My system is P3 866mhz 512mb Ram 7200rpm HD everything is DMA Enabled..Should i be getting better times with TMPG ??
any input appreciated

Nope. If you change the encoding quality/speed in tmpeg you may, but 7 hours sound fairly typical if you're using standard settings.
