ok i found out that i have a version1 ps2 and i want to have a cheaper solution then having it chip modded.....

i been browsing to some sites and i seen one that you can buy the slide tool seperatly. but it says under it works with version v4-v10.

i have a ver1 and i would like to know if the slide tool would still work.... if not then i would have to use the hd method or mod chip method. i would just use this to play an import game that i have and its japanese.

A V1 PS2 i have never even heard of that where did u find out that u have a V1 ps2.you prolly have a V4 and Swap magic and a flip top should work perfect for you.

U1 serial

okay here u go at http://swapmagic3.com it says that swap magic 3.6 works with all models of the PS2 so there you go.
