I've never tried using dvd +/-rw's, but why would you waste money on those discs anyways? Just use some quality DVD-R and you'll be golden.

I hard most ps2 dont read DVD R -/+ but whats the difference anyways just buy normal DVD-R or DVD+R there cheaper and its the same thing.

but whit the dvd+/-rw you only need one!after you get tired at a game you can delete it and burn a new one on the dvd+/-rw......

Hmmmm, i think it depends on your chip Matrix Infinity which is what i got allows me to use DVD-RW dunno about DVD+RW all you gotta do is solder an extra point. Its great for checking if things work before wasting decent media. So your direct answer is YES if your chip supports it. :-D
