I got nfl 06 last week because i run a madden site ea sent it to me so i attempted to make my first backup of a game (madden 06) well the problem is that i burned it using a dvd+r disc, and it works, however, it is soooooooooo sloowwwww, every thing takes literally 5-10 minutes to load and i was wondering is this because im using a dvd+r disc or is it because i have a bad download,,etc etc... please help if possible

try burning it at a slower speed if you can

yeah, i have the same problem, my burner cant go lower than 2.4X, and everything goes really slow and choppy, cant even get to the game

try readin the disc (backing it up) using dvddecrypter at 1X .... you can set the read speed in the settings option area to 1X in dvddecrypter and then backup the image to your had and then burn it with decrypter at lowest speed that it allows you .. mine all burn at 4 x sufficently with swapdisk 3.6 on sony DVD+R disks..... but it may be the speed you read the original from to the hd

hey, I got it to work. Burned it at 4x in Nero on TDK DVD+R.
Guess you need to burn it faster.
