Ok I have a ps1 station and I was just wondering what I need to make and play back up games? I am not sure if this is the right spot but all the other ones just talk about ps2.

to make backup's, you need a CD Writer, some CD-R's and some burning software. Nero works wonders, but i think the best tool for PS1 games was CDRWIN(although i personally hate this software)

to play backups, you need either a boot(swap)disk, or a modchip installed in your sony.

for ps 1 I always use clone cd , it's in this site under software, and it's easy to use.......As for booting it you could use Breaker Pro.....
