I just burnt this game, and it gives me problems sometimes. In certain dialogues, and in some battles, the audio just cuts out. It's not something that messes up gameplay, but it certainly is annoying. does anyone know a fix for this? I don't think it's a problem with burning since I burnt it at 1x....

To my experience whenever I have burned a PS2 game and I had audio problems it was because of the brand of DVDs I bought. I have found that by using a different type of media it has almost always fixed my problem. Sometimes I use verbatim DVDs to copy games (and I heard Verbatim is supposed to be a really good choice of media) and they would still cause the audio to skip or cut out or go out of sync. WHen I burned the same ISO but onto different media it would fix he problem. I don't know if that will work for you but give it a try.

Also, some games I burn and I find the audio skips on my PS2. I tried them in my cousin's PS2 and sometimes they work flawlessly on his. I don't know why this happens but I made 4 copies of Digital Devil Saga and after I finally made a successful one I gave him one of the copies I thought was bad. He played it flawlessly on his system. Try your backups on other systems too. Don't ask me to explain it but that's my experience :)

Oh, thank you verry much. I'l ask a friend for a dvd. Funny thing is, I bought Sony DVD-R 8x and they can't be read on my ps2. AT ALL> so I had to go back to my old dvd's. I'l try a new brand anyway. Thank you again for clarifying it for me.
