Well, my recommendation would be VSO's PhotoDVD . You can get it here...
http://www.vso-software.fr/download.htm
Or Nero has a slideshow program as part of the Ultra Edition Package. You can get it here....
Nero .com/enu/index.html" class="korostus" target="_blank">http://ww2.Nero .com/enu/index.html
Each program has a trial version.
If I remember correctly, Nero has a restriction of about 100 images where VSO has no restriction. (Why I recommend VSO)

Thanks... that's the program and version I've downloaded... I'll give it a try... thanks...
Question... in what format does it save the output? Because I'd like some slideshow and then some videos on the same disc

Hi there,
VSO PhotoDVD generates a VIDEO_TS directory with DVD format files .ifo/.vob
I don't think you can add video files, just pictures to your project.
