Can I use scanlite and isobuster to convert psx games to dvd and play with swap magic on my ps2? I know this has been asked before.... forgive me

No, dont think so, because DVD or CD, its still in PSX or PS1 format, Swap MAgic will not boot PS1 games, only ps2. To boot ps1 u need, gameshark and fliptop combo, breaker pro, or mod-chip.

PS2 cannot read PS1 games burned on DVD at all.
