hi
i have been trying with some success to convert files to dvd format so that i can burn to dvd straight away rather than having to use nero to convert.
problem is that after i have converted to dvd(mpeg2 format)the disc will only play on one of my dvd player .
what i am trying to do is find out how to (convert/encode) windows movie/avi files to (video ts) files .
any help with convertor/encoder that could do this i would be gratefull.

Hi there,

I use VSO DivXtoDVD Pre-Release v1.99.13 to convert all my .AVI/.MPG to DVD and I can burn directly with DivXtoDVD since it now has a built in burn engine !
