Patching Pal games to ntsc?

Hey,

I have tried patching a game with a Pal2ntsc patching tool, i set Y-fix on 48, patched ISO and re-burned it to dvd. But it seems like any game i've tried patching to Ntsc just doesn't work! why?, maybe it messes it up or sumthin?. Does any1 know about this, thx 4 any help!.
I didn't like the idea of using another dvd to waste on it, but i solved that by ripping the iso to my Hdd. I was going to try FFX but it's not in Iso and don't know how teh make it smaller so it'll be fit in an Iso? is there a proggie u can use?. Argh i know it wouldn't be a prob if my filesys was Ntfs damnit!.

What are u talking about?, a program or what, cause i use pal2ntsc 1.6 beta patcher and some games apparently dont work.
