i want to get a psx2 bootdisc (or something) that will boot up psone games too.i want to play both;)
i think i have v5 psx2 sys,but please let me know what one i have.

Don't get the fliptop cover because if something happens to your PS2, you're screwed since the warranty will be ripped, meaning Sony can't fix it for you and you have to buy a new PS2. Just go to www.modchip.com, go to PS2, and go to Swap Magic discs. They are $24.99 (best price, other places charge $29.99 and up, and if you find a cheaper price, you can get 5% off by posting the website, and you'll see easily where to do that on the website) for NTSC. The package comes from Switzerland, so be ready to wait 2-3 weeks for your package (like I did) if you don't buy the beefy $18 express shipping. Then go to a topic on this board named something like Xbox and PS2 backup tutorials. Go to the end of the first post and make your own slide card out of a credit card or something like that. Then just follow instructions on how to install it at modchip.com and instructions on how to use it at that backup topic. With the Swap Magic/Slide Card system, you not only can play PS2 and PS1 games, but also emulators for PS2.
my psx2 is old so warranty isn't anything i care about.
becuase my psx2 lid front cd cover got broke(but still works great,just the front cover part).but $25 sounds dam good;)
