i did not know that you could auto burn w/ roxio & shrink
I do however know I would not reccomend this as roxio is one of the most hated prog around try doing the burn w decrypter as the two apps are highly compatable I ve not heard of a drive that can burn to media that it can not recognize??
try opening the disk you created w/ decrypter and see what it tells you is on the disk.
also get that info pro info that creaky (the Nero log surgeon)requested back to us this might just bypass all my worries and give us a quick answer.

thanks, I'll do that tonight...Will this give me data regarding compatability of discs?? I am using Maxwell discs, 8X burn DVD-R but they are reading as Toshiba who probably manufactures them for Maxwell. I mentioned earlier that I am using Roxio but I believe that it is DVD Decryptor doing the burning unless I forget to put a disk in then I have to go to the roxio,,either way it will not read in any of my computers DVD players...

Sorry, somehow I replied just as l8nights was coming up on my screen
I don't think that Roxio is the auto burn...I have to drag the files to its drag'n burn pop up.. It must be DVD Decryptor that is doing the burning automatically....but either way the computer does not recognize the disc./ I will try creakys data investigation tonight and report back in the AM (I'm in time zone 5)

No changes to the system ...I really use my system mostly for editing and storing photo files. I build computers for fun but I'm not very up on what makes the system happen.. My son was that end of the puzzel but he has moved out of easy reach and is usually to busy with his life for poor ol' dad. Last night I did find that if I went to "my computer" and opened the verious DVD players there by right clicking then open the movie with the "open with" option , then the movie would run....except a disney movie that would run fine thru previews and special features but stops when the screen for the main feature starts up.I did burn two other films (Nemo and the avaitor) that ran fine all the way thru and worked good on tv and computer (again,on computer only when opened with the "open with" option, never by bringing up one of my two DVD viewing programs. A final note , to get any of this to work the computer has to be re-booted or when I try to run one of my newly burned dvd's iI get the old
"insert disk" or this "file is corrupt" type messages ????????
