i made a mistake deleting the xboxdash.xbe when i ftp to my computer is there a way of getting this file back to my xbox.oh and my xbox is softmodded

If you have the original info saved on your PC you could justtransfer it over.

i don't have the eeprom but i copied the xboxdash.xbe before i deleted it will that work

Try saving the file to a disc and transferring it to the xbox. It will probably have to be a CD-RW or DvD disc.

are you sure so you mean i just burn the file to a dvd and the xbox will
will read it and the error code won't be there anymore until i copy the file to my hardrive.

nope every time i turn it on it goes to error screen and the number is 16 but can't i just connect my hdd to my computer and insert the xboxdash.xbe?can you tell me as soon as possible please.

if you can boot an original xbox game, you should be able to use the softmod exploit to ftp back in and replace the file. if not you could put in a solderless or solder mod chip and then ftp to fix the file.
