Hello,

Dvd decrypter never lets me select a burn speed anymore than fu**in 1x!. Why the heck is that? my media is Ritek G05 -R A-grade, I had go4 before and they could be done at 2x which was acceptable but now its only allowing damn crappy 1x which sucks. I'm not sure if it has anythin 2 do with the tpye of burner i have, but it's a LiteOn.

Thanx

I use the same discs as you - Ritek GO5, -R and DVD Decrypter allows me to burn at any speed. I use a Pioneer DVD 109r to back up my games. Maybe you should try the following: (1) get the latest firmware for your burner, and (2) download DVD Decrypter again and reinstall. From what I hear LiteOn are pretty good burners.

Firmware ey, where would i find the update? probably liteon.com. Actually it's not my burner, but on my sis's laptop. I did download the latest ver of Decrypter and that made no diff!.

I think i'll be gettin one of my own soon so i'm goin for a Pioneer one and see what that does from there. Pioneer is owned by Sony i heard, so thats probably why they're pretty good. Liteon is good but i think its good to try them around a bit 'n see what works best.
