Guano - doin well, finally hit AD Addict after a Year Plus, just popping in to find out how else i can Fuq w/ my PSP :-) as usual.
of course helping Newbs too *pfft* we was all there once, just some of us can read tutorials.

NPDYNA - i'd assume he used the RCO editor dealy, i'd say open impose whatever.rco in it and see what u can see.

Yea, that's the one. But you don't change the colour by hex editing. You simply make a new pic for it. It's gotta have a transparent layer and has to be 8bit. (256 colour bitmap). Just use the tool found here to extract and rebuild.

You can also edit the Pops, Jazz, Hard labels for music. Kinda dumb. I don't really find any point in editing something you're never going to see. Touran is actually going to edit his System settings icons. The icons UNDER that directory.

Could someone please give me the download link for the best top_menu here?
I just tried the whole wave hex editing. When I did it, it looked weird and only lasted for like, 2 seconds. It then goes away and comes back again.
So, I used someone elses. It's good. I'll have to mess around with it more though.
As for the top_menu, I just want something really sweet. So, maybe guano could hook me up? :)

Yea, what you want it to say? (In case you haven't read, I have changed the "Memory Stick" text. You can opt to have your name instead, w/ a MAXIMUM of 14 characters.)

It won't load it.
I put in into the resource folder.
i then exited the Recovery mode and it just gave me a black screen then turned off.

This is becuase you can only use the same or less amount of words as teh original. REason beacuse the .PRX for these are hard coded to read a certain amount of letters.
