Just wanted to share this wonderful experience with my buddies here at the AD forum!
I logged in on March 1st 2005, and it's incredible to believe that in so short time I've learnt all that I know about DVDs from this forum...

His name is Kevin, he's barely 6 days old and at the moment of birth he weighed 3.45 kg and measured 51.5 cm
He's so cute!!! I'm sooo happy... so happy am I that I've downloaded all video feeds from my digital camera and encoded to MPEG-2 and I'm at the process of creating a slideshow with pictures for placing as a presentation on the DVD... he's gonna learn all from me about that from this forum ;-) Is daddy a cyber-freak?
Btw, I've been sleeping 3 hours max... this week I ain't working, but next week I've got to go back to the office...

I looked after my friends 15 month old son for 10 days 24-7 a while ago. Hard work, but EXTREMELY rewarding! I know where you are coming from! Good luck with that little thing called sleep!

congrats to you and your family!!
i know how hard it is taking care of the newborn, i had to take care of my brother when he was born, lots of crying for the first six months, and throwing up, but i think it was worth it since hes my little helper person now that hes all grown up

Congrats. Just had my first baby girl 2 months ago. Man, you are gonna love bein a dad. 51.5cm thats a pretty long baby. lol, mine was the same length. Anyways.... Good luck man.

Yep, I got one that is almost 19 months now, the stage that your kid is in now is paradise, trust me. Just wait till he's walkin, talkin and waking you up with a slap to the eye.
