Multiple ps2 cds on 1 dvd?

My ps2 doesn't like to read burned cd's and if I want to play a back-up of a cd game I have to burn it to a dvd first. As you would imagine this leaves alot of room left on the disc and seems pretty damn wasteful. So I'm wondering if theres any way you can back-up multiple ps2 cd's on 1 dvd?

here is a link,but after you have gone through whats involved,i think you will find you wont bother
its not very successful,and for what dvd's cost these days,its just not worth it
