i burned a game and it kinda like freezes for a few seconds every few minutes and starts going againi no it is prolly bcuz im using maxell dvds but if i burn it again will it do the same thign or will it work better??thx

sounds like you've burnt the game too fast - try burning slower. I had a copy of San Andreas which I bought from Thailand which was doing the same thing and I suspect it did that because it was burnt on cheap media and was burnt at a high speed, such as 8x

i burned it at 1x and im gettin ready to order some verbatim DVD-R dvds if i burn it on one of those do u think it will work better

Make sure they're Verbatim Datalife Plus discs. You might want to burn the game at a faster speed (such as 4x) cause some people in the forums are saying that they're having problems with games burnt at 1x, 2x and 2.4x. Also make sure you have the latest firmware installed on your burner. The speed really depends on your burner - I have a DVD 109r which can burn at 8x (when I forget to change the burn speed to 4x) and not cause any problems in game play. Though I also use good media - Ritek G04 and GO5.

Also make sure youre Verbatims are idetified as "MCC(mitsubishi chemical corp)" and not cheap CMCs.
