can someone tell me the steps to booting a Burnt ps2 DVD-R game with Action Replay Max for the ps2. Thanks anything will help!
P.S. I have a slide card but, no Swap magic Disks.

if your PS2 doesn`t have a chip then you will need swap magic disk
PS2 PsTwo Slimline (V12)

boot PS2 with AR disk
go in advance mode
select the game and codes
press eject change disk with swap magic
start game
swap swap magic disk with backup
PS2 PsTwo Slimline (V12)
Fujifilm/RIDATA DVD-R 1x-8x 4.7GB
Swap magic 3.6 + AR MAX EVO + Flip Top

I DON'T have a swap magic all I have is a Action Replay Max disc. Will I beable to play backed up ps2 games with it?

No because how would you be able to boot it without the aid of swap magic or another boot method? You can only play ANY downloaded ps2 game if you've got a boot method

The only free method is the knife swap, but its fiddly, requires alot of swaps, and you have to use a knife in your ps2. The only real options are swap magic or a mod-chip

and like i said in my post is if your PS2 is not modded then you will need Swap Magic.... which mean if you don`t have any of these solution you are screwed

I just googled it and heres what I found:
1.Put AR in and (let it load)
2.After the screen features appeas press [X] select "start game" "without codes"
3.Then it will say please insert the game, wait and do the swap methode.
ok I know how to do the swap methode but I don't understand what they mean buy start game without codes? Do I just click on any random game and click start game without codes?

don't highlight any game. Just press start then select start without codes

Why not just buy swap magic cause it'll save you all of that stuffing around! Besides, swap magic is pretty cheap to buy too.
