I want to play my ps2 online and still have my internet accessible so i need to get a dsl router.

Does anybody know where i can get one at a very low price?

I heard that there are ones designed specifically for video game lan partys but I have no idea what its called?

Someone please help me!!!

Well I can try to help you. I figured out how to fix my internet on my ps2 and I love it now. But if you can tell me how you get on the internet and etc you probably wont need a router but a hub. Because I use a hub instead of a router for my dsl connection for my playstation.

Actually a hub is not enough unless you want to leave one computer on to serve as a gateway. Instead what you need is a home networking router/gateway. I recommend the Linksys WRT54GS, but other companies like D-Link, Buffalo, and SMC have comparable offerings. Just plug the WAN port of the router into the LAN port of your DSL modem and you're good to go.

Thanx for your help but I was able to figure out how to set my ps2 up so i could play it without a router, and still allow someone to use the internet. I simply did this by configuring a second Local Area Connection, and then while configuring my network adapter settings for the ps2 i selected LAN...
