Lets see...IMBNes..well it's been awhile but I seem to remember that once you build a rombank image(rombank.bin I think) You put it in the same folder with the other IMBNes files (SYSTEM CNF.,nes.exe. ,saveicon.bmp.) then put all off those in Nero and burn it...one last thing though you need to use a PS1 disc to boot it like Game shark Lite or Breaker Pro (NOT Swap Magic)
Because if you think about it the IMBnes is really any emulator for PS1. I was confused by this at first too....well that's about it.. I hope I've helped you....If not PM me.

ugh, i re did it and nothing :(

i added the roms in rombank, created the iso and the cue file, then put those 2 files along with saveicon and system.cnf alltogether in Nero, burnt and yea...i get the "please insert a playstation or playststion2 disc.."

just out of curiosity, with a modchip, how do u enable the ps2 to play copied psx games?

I don't really know a whole lot about the Apple chips , except that they are expensive and seem rare, but I did find this link http://chipzone.com/installation/playstation2/operating/appleop.cfm about booting it in different modes..I hope it helps...Also whaty brand of CDs are youusing,it's possible that could be the problem....

yeah TDK is supposed to be ok.... I remember when I was thinking about getting a chip some of the boot instructions seemed rather strange so I got the discs and a HDD....but I don't really hear much about the Apple chips. I almost got a Crystal chip, which is another one nobody really talks about....Well I hope it works for you....I guess booting PS! games is a Whole other matter for a PS2, for instance, my swap magic discs won't do it but I've got 2 other PS1 CDs that will...

hello, I just wanted to say you made the rom disc right the first time
you just add roms(with the add roms button) to the bank and press the button that makes the bin and cue file. burn it slow if it dont work its probally your mod chip I use gameshark for PS1.

Genesis and SNES are differnt,U use cdgenps2 for them, and you add the system.cnf, then the emu.elf then the roms folder with the roms in it unzipped, then if you need to right click system.cnf ,edit, change lba to 12231 that helps when booting with gamesharks and PARmax evo I dont know about mod chips. Then make the IMG. Note:you can download the differnt sega and SNES elfs from emulater sites.I think the sega emulater files are called pgen something, and the files for SNES are on the SNES-station web site.I use my cd swap magic 3.6 to boot these games. I just wanted to add that cause emulaters there cool. Not all games work perfect tho.

But like everyone else said if probally your mod chip I just wanted to make sure you were makeing the disks the right way.

yeah, the LBA thing is another matter..... I never got either one of them to work by fixing the LBA..but some people had the oppisite result... trial n error I guess..... But it probably is a mod chip issue...
