What if I want to rip Subtitles to Text Format???

I use the MicroDVD tool in order to watch my avi files and there I can select a text file containing the subtitles in any format.... I want to rip them from a DVD... wath should I do??? Thanks.

You can use a program called Subrip to strip the desired subtitle from the .VOB's to a text file.

I believe you can find Subrip in the 'software' section and there might even be a guide somewhere on how to use it...
