Any freeware to convert JPEG's to DVD???

Looking to put my sisters vaction pics on a dvd.

If you mean do a simple slide show with no audio, then many DVD players will do slide shows if you just burn a data DVD with the jpg files on it. Usually the only hassle is if you need to control the order of the slides then you might need to prefix the filenames and folder names with
numbers so your DVD burner software will sort them in the order you want.

If you're looking to do something fancier then give details.

Her dvd player doesn't play jpegs. It's old-fashion, like her:)

There's a way to convert .jpg images to .mpg stills for use in menus. How well it would work to do a whole bunch I don't know. But I know there's mention of it in some of the guides. You might search on keywords -- TMPGEnc VCDEasy Menu .mpg still image --
on the www.videohelp.com site and you should come up with something

either that or you could make a video of yourself taking each picture off an easel like they used to do in the old movies :)

OTOH it might be easier just to buy her a new DVD player for $70. Maybe
one of those Philips DVP series that plays nearly everything and is region free. :)
