HELP BACKUP EA GAMES

please could someone help me backup EA games everytime i go to back them up they play but they freeze when they go to the loading screen.please may u list the software which i need and the instructions how to backup ea games. thanks phil

i too ran into this problem. but i have figured it out lucky for u.EA games r the only ones that have given me a problem. first off dont burn at slow speed burn at 4x using DVD Decrypter. second dont use memorex with disc id "cmc." i used maxell the silver top ones with disk id "ritek" but im sure there is better disc to use. last turn your ps2 on its side it plays better the lense will be closer to disk to get a better read. hope this helps and goodluck

Verbatim and TDK along with a few others are the best disc's that you can use.

What game is it you?re having problems with; I don't have any problems with EA games, maybe it's just luck :)

Also i believe if you do a search you will find a thread about burning EA games, i had a look but i couldn?t find it.

the games i am having proplems are need for speed underground 2 and def jam fight for new york.

I have tried your idea already and it doesnt work why does it have to be EA games this is really annoying. doesnt ea have security on thier discs now and isnt their a patch to disable this security.

lol i thought u were talking about madden. def jam mine did the same as yours but i only tried it once and i realized i hated the game. i will do need for speed sometime this week and tell you if i have any probs.

What Swap Magic are you guys using to play your ea games. I mean I have mvp baseball 2004-2005, Madden 2006, Ncaa 2006, moh rising sun, moh euro assault, moh frontline, nfsu2, tons of ea games that I use with Swap Magic 3.6, and the cheapest media you can buy. Teon DVD+R 8x from Staples 20 for $5, and never had one problem with a ton of games using Swap Magic 3.6. I don't see where the problem is.

im not using a swap magic disc im using a modbo 1.1 chip. i just cant understand why it is only Ea games and not any other

its not the swap magic disk thats the prob. its ea games. i never had any probs burning any other games and i have quite a few. need for speed underground burned perfectly btw. maybe u should burn the game even faster than 4x. if it is still freezing at 4x. like i said before if i burn ea games slow they dont work. but when i burn them fast they come out perfect.
