For a modchip, you can play the latest games without having to patch anything. With Swap Magic, you have to patch some image files, you need a fliptop, you need to buy the latest discs. Is there anyway to play the latest games with like a V2 Swap magic or a V1 Swap Magic Disc?

Of course :)

Download a newer one, burn to disc and swap for the newer version of swap magic using the old swap magic. Only dvd9 games won?t work but rebuilding will sort that out.

aye aye man

He means that if you have an older version of swap magic, you can download the newer version and use the old one to boot the new one and then boot your game of choice. Quite clever :0.
