I was wondering (since the Codebreaker website doesn't work for me for some reason), is Codebreaker 7.1 compatible with Datel's 16 mb PS2 MAX Drive? I want to know because I want to have the ability to download game saves and game cheats without having to have to buy another cheat device. I would like everybody who has tried doing this to post, whether or not it worked for them (sometimes a USB drive can work for some while not for others).

Where did you get the idea I own an AR device? I said I had a v7.1 Codebreaker and wanted to know if it would work with Datel's 16mb PS2 USB MAX Drive. I read earlier at the codebreaker forums that only some USB drives will work, mainly those under 256mb, and I don't remember the MAX drive being on the list (although some topics had people who claimed they heard it works).

Okay, if nobody knows the answer to that question, then here's another one:

I heard somewhere that you can modify your own USB Drive with the MAX Drive software, is that true? If so, where can I download it?

The max drive comes with a ps2 disc that lets you put .max file saves on your ps2 anyway (e.g found off the internet, on the codejunkies page and gamefaqs). If you want to use codebreaker saves theres a pc program that converts between codebreaker saves and max saves and all the other major save brands, so even if its not compatible with codebreaker you could still get saves off the internet and put them on your ps2.

Where can I find that program? Does it interchange between Codebreaker cheats and MAX saves?

It inter changes between all save types, it is called ps2 save builder and it can be found here: http://www.ps2savetools.com/download.php?op=viewdownloaddetails&lid=74
But remember if your getting saves off the internet they must correspond with your version of the game e.g PAL or NTSC or they won't work. This is to be said for any saves found off the internet, whatever format they are.
