Why oh Why! Swap Magic just HAS to be so difficult! This 3 piece thing ugh!! Well heres a picture of the 3 pieces that NO ONE else has except for me and im stuck with em.
I got the middle piece all the way down in my slim ps2 but for one, the first piece is TOO BIG to fit in slot "a" where the top goes through. The SQAURE part is in the way! Who on earth made this! And then the last object on the right gets in the way of the CD!!! I put a cd in and its rubbing against it when its next to the white CD breaker thing. This is so stupid. And it seems no one else has ever had this problem. I think "push harder" and it doesnt make a difference. The only object ive been able to get to go fine into my ps2 slim is the middle object (where you put next to the silver thing holding the top to the ps2). That, I mashed it down with a screwdrivers head and it looks like this:
So the other two objects that DONT work look like this:
This one above, its covering the darn hole TOO MUCH to where the top cant close down! And it came to my house like this!
This one above, the black piece I stuck in there wont go in any farther and the CD rubs against it!!!!
Okay, calm down. Look, your not the only one w/ the 3 peices of crap. Yes, they are difficult to install from what ive heard and i wouldn't even bother w/ them.
Go online and buy a fliptop case for $18 and use it instead. Its so much easier to install with no hassle.
i don't think does pieces r neccesary. u can't throw them away... its only there to protect the hardware... cuz i don't have those things plugged in my ps2 and if i did i could be juss as upset as u...
Actually, if u want to use swap magic yes, they are neccesary becuase if u press eject, it will ask for a bigger TOC disk and w/ the slide tool the ps2 will not attempt to read the disk, its just waaayyyy to complicated with the three peices.
If u dont want to spend another $18 DO NOT throw them away just calm down and look for a guide that's easy to follow.
That's why the majority of people using swap magic use fliptop cases
