When you swap the Gameshark disc out, is the Gameshark disc still spinning, or has it stopped? Like, after the Gameshark disc loads, does it stop spinning? I don't want to rip the Gameshark disc out while it's spinning, since that's hard on the system.

And this is the correct method? (Thanks to the poster) I also assume it's the only way to play PS1 games on a fliptop?
Quote:
Try this, load game shark, select codes/no codes, go to where it says to insert game disk and instead of ejecting, do swap, press x.
this might not work with your version gs but its how I load ps1 games.
Also, if it's not against guidelines/too much trouble, could I get a few recommendations for CDRip games you've played that don't suck/are playable ripped to CD, until I get my PC with the DVD burner fixed?

Also, PAL games are bigger res. than NTSC, so even with a PAL2NTSC patcher, they'll be cut off? Does anyone know if Half-Life has a 50/60Hz menu at the start or anything? I can only find it in PAL...

Yes, the gameshark disc stops spinning, use a fliptop, take it out, put in the backup, click "start game" and then "without codes" you will see a black screen for a few seconds and then the game will start.

Good luck
