Grand, replay lite is going fine, got a new computer, that's going good too, nothing much else happening really.
I think everyone's been away over the last few weeks, site has been fairly quiet except for a few kids asking retarded questions. Still, quiet is good as they say!

If you have 9.10 on box like moggser advised, you can do a manual scan as some of these channels changed frequencies, awhile back.

Is there any way of searching for new channels/any channels I'm missing, without upsetting the position of the rest of my saved channels?

yes, if you know what channels you are missing and their frequency, you can do a manual scan on that frequency and they will appear at the end of your channel list.

Cheers!!
Not 100% sure what channels I'm missing. I know Setanta hasn't scanned through. Just didn't wanna upset the channels I've had set up for while. Seemed to take a lifetime when I initially scanned for all channels a while ago when I first bought the box.

hiya lads, I got 2 replay lites for a mate living in sligo, he said he was on chorus. so i put latest software on them(910) and tried them on my mmds with 6887 symbol rate. and all was fine apart from a little stalling. now he has the boxes and i told him to put in 6875 but no channels were found. so i told him to try 6887 but dont think this will work as it was already set at this symbol rate when he got it. any ideas or does anyone know of people in sligo being able to use these boxes

@gar81, if you read back through pages 197 to 199 of this thread you should get your answers.

The cable provider options are
- UPC Analogue (previously Ch**us) {?23.50 per month for bout 18 channels}
- hUPC Digital {?26 per mont for bout 100 channels}
Digital seems the most value for money option!
That's why I asked if the box can be used with Digital (to pick up additional channels..)
Also there's
S*Y & S*Y Digital,
but didn't want to go with the S*Y option cos I heard the box doesn't work with this.
Not too sure about the MMDS options available.
I think S*Y is through a satellite dish.
right,..your best option is the basic digital MMDS service, they come out & install all the nessesary equipment, antenna, indoor power invertor & their own digibox which you promptly swap with your digibox, Eurovox TX, THE BOX T, Dreambox 500T,...your Reply lite will not work with any of the services you mention.
Thanks a million Lenny123,
Just called UPC to verify Sligo options. He said that we are on MMDS..
He told me that we are and even with the Digital option, all the channels may not be available due to the location, there's mountains and hills around me!!! - very beautiful though ;)
He said that it is due to the bad signal in the area.
Will THE BOX or the Eurovox have the same issue with picking up these channels??
If I remember correctly you were using a reply lite on a cable setup & at this stage I feel there was some other issue affecting reception, some areas of the country are cabled but they are fed from a communal mast/antenna somewhere in the locality which may or may not have gone digital as yet so you might have been flogging a dead horse to begin with...who knows !!! I setup a dvb-c box in a rural area (small housing estate) all the houses there were cabled but fed from a local mast, the owner could only get a signal when youpissy came out to one of a number of under ground junction boxes in the estate & connected him up there even then neither the ev max, reply or kryptview worked very well & only a small amount of channels came through even though the boxes found over 100 with scanning, the only box that worked 100% was THE BOX (dvb - c) can you check with a neighbor at the new place who has MMDS & see if they have signal issues ?

Factory default:
Once you have all your channels and Favourites sorted, they are saved as Factory Default.
If you are missing some channels, you can then do a full scan and when you have found all channels......select View.
You can then see the channels that you were missing and get their frequencies. (write them down)
Do a Factory Default, the box will go back to your previous Channels & Favourites.
Then you can do a manual for your missing channels from the frequencies you wrote down.
Then use the Channel Manager to store them were you want without having to sort all your channels and favourites again.
~~~~~~~
You can also improve the EPG by deleting channels that you don't use.
Use the Channel Manager to do this.
This will free up memory for the EPG.
