Playing PS2 CD Games On DVD

Hello all.
Just a quick question, I want to make a backup of a game called Casino Challenge for the Ps2 but the game is a CD-ROM as opposed to the usual DVD. I only have the DVD version of swap magic so is it possible for me to backup the game on DVD so I can get it working correctly?

I wonder this myself. Like, why couldn't you put a cd iso on a dvd but it might have to do with the sector organization on each type of disk. If you could start a cd burn and then swap in a blank dvd it wouldn't work because the sectors are bunched up on a dvd or something. and the software is gonna stop when it sees it isn't the right kind of disk. Your question might have already been answered. I'm gonna do some searches.

ive done lego star wars and madagascar on dvd the workgreat ive heard you can do it with most cd based games
