How To Interpret Nero Disk Test Results?

OK, I know I'm going to get yelled at by you guys for using Memorex disks, but considering that DL disks cost about 10 times as much as SL disks, I got them anyway. When the prices on DL disks eventually drop to a decent level I'll buy some Verbatim, or even TY if I ever see them for DL. 'Nuff said on that.
I ran Nero Disk Quality Test on a DL disk on which I burned a movie using CloneDVD2. I used 2X test speed because that is the rated burn speed of the disk.
Unfortunately, I have no idea what the results mean, i.e. if those error & failure numbers are really bad or acceptable.
These are the results from the test:
General Information
Drive LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-832S
Firmware VS0E
Disc DVD+R DL (RITEK D01}
Selected Speed 2X
PI errors
Maximum 34
Average 11.52
Total 171414
PI failures
Maximum 7
Average 0.43
Total 16431
PO failures n/a
Jitter n/a
Scanning statistics
Number of samples 152763
Average scanning interval 1.08 ECC
Glitches removed 0
Is someone able to tell me if these results are good, bad or indifferent?
P.S. I flashed the above drive from a Sony SL to a Lite-On DL burner. Seems to burn just fine.

Ritek DL+R code's out as ..DO1 2.4x rated speed
haven't tried any myself yet (to expensive) but will do as soon as they come down in price.
be interested in how much you paid for them and where you got them from.
scan result looks good to me.

Very good scan. I've been wanting to see what the memorex +dls have for an MID code. Ritek are very good.
I just picked up 6 verbatim data life plus +2.4x DLs at office depot a couple weeks ago for $20 in their weekly sale.
They also had the memorex dual layers for $30 for 3 of them-ouch!

i dont even bother with scans........ being that i use trusted media anyway.... but it is nice information to know that memorex aint so cheap after all, but then again, your paying more for dual layer, so at the very least, you'd expect some better quality. i just wonder if ALL the d/l memorex media is quality..?

In reply to gurnard's question, I bought them on ebay. With shipping they cost about $3.60 apiece, better than the average of about $5.
I'm certainly glad to hear from you guys that I didn't get a bunch of crap discs, since I bought a spindle of 25.

saugmon-gear....these are good results?! 16,000 PIF's!!! Am I interperting my results in correctly? I am usually under 100 PIF's on my SL discs.
Also posting a screen scan of the test would be helpful.

I ran another test using DVDInfoPro and saved it in jpeg format. Slightly different results. I also saved the .dip file. No idea what that is.
Could you please give a dummy(me) instructions on how to paste it into the thread. Thanks.

Frank- The scan looks pretty good @ 315 PIF's. Kind of a waste to only go to 5.3 gigs though on a DL!
Pika- I'd be a little concerned with the block of errors ~4gig. Could that possibly just be from the layer break? Maybe Nero doesn't read correctly there on DL's. Unfortunately I don't have any DL's to test and scan. Maybe I'll have to break down and buy some for testing purposes. How does the movie play? No pixelation, etc?
Can't wait until the DL's are affordable, I've done extensive testing with SL's.

Another quick question:
Would I be likely to get a better/more reliable burn if I used an even slower burn speed, like 1x?

@ Frankwm hi :)
you really only need 1x -2x to burn Ps2 games preferably 1x.
2x-4x for burning movies.

@ gurnard
OK, thanks. Since the burn speed of the disks is 2.5x that shouldn't be a problem.
