My Flip Top will now only play backup's.

I have a PS2 with flip top and Swap Magic.Recently,while playing a regular game,it started making a loud rattling kind of noise.Now,whenever I put a regular game in my system it immediately starts making that same noise and i cannot play the game.However,I can play backups without problem.

Anyone else ever had the same problem?

check to make sure the flip top cover is well inserted so it doesn`t create a friction

The flip top is very secure.The thing that's aggravating is that it will only play my backup's.It only makes the loud rattling sound when i'm playing the original disc.

Do you all have any other suggestions?

try justswaping for the original,maybe that would work. and dnt use the fliptoplid for regual disk changing. Only for usewith swap magic

OK,I'm now able to play my regular games as well as my backup's.But,in order to play my regular games I have to keep my lid open.But what the hell,whatever works!
