i was wondering are there any ps2 OS available?
are they worth it? safe?

i was curious after seeing a cover for ps2 alpha 03.something like that.

Yes, there is an OS for the PS2, but now it's only available in Japan and it's "illegal" to use on an American PS2. Go look on eBay for PS2 Linux Kit.

I've got The Version that you mentioned on my memory card exploit. It locks up alot....but I only keep it because it will copy files from CD to Memory card...Key launcher dosent even do that (even though it says it does). I've been looking for a better version and never found one yet, but the next release is supposed to have HDD support... then I could put Snes and Pgen roms on the HDD.....and I've seen the Linux kit that hackman16 is talking about..but I never new it was illegal to use in america...but I guess that dosen't suprise me.....
