Spider Chip flashing and booting problems

I have:
Xbox v1.1
SpiderChip v1.1
I installed the mod chip perfectly. It was booting up with the cromwell bios. I tried flashing it with Evox3.6 bios. It found the bios and installed. Now when I turn it on, it turns off, then turns back on, then off again, and finally it stays on. The screen stays black and the LED flashes green and red. Every now and then it just turns on and stays on with a black screen and the LED stays green. If the mod chip is off it boots up normally. I downloaded the SpiderChip reflash cd from xbins but I have yet to get that to do anything. My question is, does anyone know what is wrong or have any suggestions on how to fix it.

I have the same exact promlem you are having except I have an xbox 1.0. I haven't tried flashing the chip yet because it was suppose to be flashed when I bought it, but I would appreciate it if you could let me know where to get the files to flash the chip with. I have the usb programmer 1.0 but have not used it yet.

ok no need to worry your xbox is not dead .........Yet lol lol ....ok i guess this is not funny ... you have not flashed you chip correcty but firstly try burning the bios on to a cd-rw and let me know if you have any luck flash all banks in the mean time i'll look for a bios what are you using to burn your bios?

no worries mate we'll get through this one .......... ok how did you flash your chip and with what bios and if you think you have flashed your chip then you need to install a dash

I burned a DVD using Nero to flash the bios originally. I followed the directions from the spiderchip website. I have a spiderchip reflash DVD burned but either I dont know how to use it or it doesnt work.

Hey,
I checked out that tutorial before I tried flashing the chip. The chip went through the flashing and everything ok; however, now it just sits on this black screen. I don't know what went wrong. My main concern is if I can reflash the chip. I downloaded a reflash cd specifically for the spiderchip but that doesnt seem to work. I think I will try buying one of those adapters so I can try flashing it from my computer. If anyone can help me out that would be great.

ok if you mean using a programmer to reflash your chip this is possible and it is much easier and will save a lot of time i have used the x2 programmer to do my chip and it was great saves a lot of time let me know if you need some guild lines have you bought a programer if you need links to acsses one let me know

I haven't bought one yet but I will in a couple days. Do you know of any problems that people have with the programmer that I should watch out for? Also, do you know of an in depth tutorial that I can look at so I don't have a chance of screwing it up again, lol?

for me the programmer was the best thing ever at first i did not flash all the 4 banks of the chip and all i had to do was re flash it i'll have a look around and make you a guild or give you links to a guild and dont worry using the programer is a walk in the park the nice thing is that when you do not flash your chip correctly you can do it over a gain

Hi guys,
I have an Xbox v1.6 and the spider modchip v1.1. I apparently flashed the chip with the wrong bios so now my Xbox turns on and off like 3 times and stays blinking red and orange. So I went and found the correct bios (Evox M8 plus v1.6) and the Spider chip Reflash CD WinRAR file. Since I don't have the USB flash programmer for the Spider modchip, I will have to use the Reflash CD. My first question is: How do I get my xbox to read the reflash CD? I'm assuming that my xbox won't read anything since it's just flashing red/orange. Secondly, when I try to unzip the reflash file with WinRAR, I get the message "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged". Is there a tutorial on how to set up the reflash CD file? Thanks for you help guys!

I never found a solution for that problem. The programmer doesnt detect the spider chip so that doesnt work either. If you find a solution let me know. Good luck.

I need some kind of lead way on how to where to get the files to flash my chip using my spider programmer. Any help would be greatly appreciate. I have xbox v1.0 and chip v1.1

You guys should try to go to Http://Eurasia.com and downloading the eurasia pro generic flash disc. When you doanwload it it will unzip into 2 faolders and a readme file. The readme file is very simple to follow but if you have any troubles email me and i can walk you through it.
