http://web02063.prolocation.net/phpBB2/index.php go here, look under third party flashes
The DMS4 Pro needs the ToxicOS V0.3
The Lite needs the ToxicBIOS V1.3 so that is up to date
But they are working on Version 4 now :)
It will have support for cheats right on the chip with
no need for a cheat disc! At least for the DMS4 Pro, not
sure for the lite.

Unless you are REALLY good with soldering i would
not suggest that you do this yourself. There are
17 tiny wires that need to be soldered to your PS2
motherboard and if you mess up it's toast.
and the version does make a difference.
Make sure you also download the Toxic flash for that chip
you will need it after it is installed
I don't know which one you have but look above for which
one you need with the Lite or Pro chip
You have one or the other, there is no DMS4 Lite Pro
they are 2 different chips with 2 different flashes
here are a bunch of instal pictures so you can see what i mean
http://www.teammodders.com/viewforum.php?f=53 these are expert installs where wires have been cut to exact
lengths so it is very clean looking.

Thanks for the link i had a look but no v9 guide , i think i'll sack it off as a bad job and send it off to be chipped.

one way to do it is make a extention for the plug..use 2 wires and solder them to the points where the plug was before.then solder the other end to the plug or right to the fan wires.cut them and make them longer..check to see which way the fan turns before you solder the wires..air flows in or out depends on the wires like (+) and (-)..very simple repair job..

Hi cheers
what type of solder do i need ? and is it just standard wire, is it to much of a nightmare to solder it to the board? it just looks so confusing as there are 2 bits that attach to the right sticking out of the plug and 2 bits at the bottom side ?
sorry for being thick , i've searched google and i can buy a repair guide for 10.00 but i don't want to get ripped off if its easy to do
thanks in advance
