Hi. Im getting a matrix infinity mod chip installed on my slim black ps2 model scph-70012. Was wondering, can it play ALL backup games AND original games AND all the other media? CD's DVD's etc. Anyone have this chip already installed on their PS2?

Yeah I have one in my version 10 PS2. It has worked great so far (just over a year). I haven't found a game that it won't boot.

Just make sure that you are getting a genuine Matrix Infinity and not a clone - lots and lots of clones of this chip are going around!

If you go to team matrix's website (www.infinitymod.com) you'll see pictures of a real Matrix Infinity and clones. Once you see the pics ask the person who is installing the chip to show you the chip he's putting in your PS2. Unfortunately, many people find that they have a clone Matrix Infinity when they go to upgrade to the latest firmware or when the adjust the configuration menu. Once these people do either of those things their clone chip usually packs it in.
