Problem backing up my DVD's

I have both ICOPYDVDs2 and XCOPYPLATINUM and have had no problems backing up until a couple of days ago. However when I attempt now it reads the decrypted file ok but after about a minutes time in the write cycle it goes quickly into the formatting process and gives me another coaster. For anything less than 4.7GB Nero6 works just fine and I'm puzzled as to what has happened. Any help would be appreciated. I'm using a Sony DVD RW DRU-700A external DVD drive.
