I think the reason u are gettin this error is because ur readin straight off the DVD and u have not Decrypted it yet. What u have to do is run DVD Decrypter first and ripp to a folder created on the hard drive tnen u can run DVD Shrink.

Look at Scuba petes guide in my sig. It will take u through the process.

I hope that helps

The error can mean a software conflict, bad ide cables or drive install problem. Does this only happen with this movie or with all? Are you able to watch the movie on your pc? What copying software do you have installed?

lookatme9,
If you are getting Read errors using DVDDecrypter then there are scratches or the disk is a bad press. Try cleaning first and re-try but if it fails carry the disk back for exchange.

thats the weird thing theres not a single scratch on the disk but i get the errors i have no idea what to do other than try an original of the movie and not the collectors edition one.

The edition you have could be bad. Take it back and exchange it

lookatme9,
Bad Presses can happen to any disk. Hollywood is going for low costs to manuf the disks. One disk can play and the other can not. If there are problems on the disk a DVD Player is more forgiving than a computer that is trying to read the disk
