I've searched the board and yahoo/google and cant really find a solid answer as to why my PAL backups are scrolling in black and white(impossible to even play because of the screen scrolling).

Ive tried booting in Norm/Pal/NTSC each....not sure what I've done wrong.

Any suggestions? A thread I missed you could point me to?

Thanks!

- At The Bottom, Move along to select which region you wish to play the game in.

- Go back upto Load Game and press Square for special boot. It should now properly boot up in the region you selected.

Also, I just tried NTSC with square, it works but everything is shifted down so im missing half the screen basically. Im almost positive the game is PAL but it works half ass with NTSC. Any ideas?

Will the top/bottom of the screen be cut off?

And will using the PAL2NTSC thing ruin the image if the game has a 50/60Hz switch?

This is probably a frequently asked question, but I can't seem to find the answer. I'm trying to boot a PAL PS2 game but I can only change the video mode on the CD boot disc, is there a way to change the video mode on the DVD boot disc, or is there a step in between I'm missing?

ldlol - No, the screen will be just fine.

Magobot - The program has a very high success rate, check the site shown after patching and note it down, that way you can check which games it has worked with.

JackMang - What program are you using?
